We offer four (4) affordable monthly bookkeeping Plans tailored to the needs of most small businesses in Oshawa, the Durham Region and Toronto Area. If your business does not fit in anyone of them or if you require a special bookkeeping solution, we do offer custom pricing and hourly bookkeeping rates as well. Do you offer only MONTHLY RATES?
We do both; Monthly Plans and hourly rates. New clients are usually charged hourly rates the time for us to get their books up-to-date. Because it is impossible for us to determine the state they are in, we start off an hourly rate. This enables us to get your books in order and insure that everything is entered properly. Once this is completed and we have a accurate idea of how much work is needed, we then put our best clients onto a monthly plan which enables them to budget on a monthly basis how much they are spending on their bookkeeping.
Also the monthly plans are good ways to know that the fees you are paying aren’t determined by how quickly or slowly our staff work, but how much work we get done.
How much it will cost me?
It really depends on whether your books are up to date, what sort of services you would like from us. For instance, do you want us to enter all of your invoices, write your cheques, do your bank reconciliations each month, and your GST/HST returns? Very often we need to provide our services on an hourly basis to start with until the books are completely up to date. Then we can work out a monthly package that allows you to accurately budget the cost of your bookkeeping on an ongoing basis.
Can you set me up & train me how to do it and then I can do it myself?
Yes, we can get you set up and train you on all aspects of using your accounting software package. However, we strongly think that it would be more beneficial for you to spend your time building your business and let us take care of all of your bookkeeping needs. You didn’t get into business to do bookkeeping. We did. And in most cases we are at least twice as fast and accurate as the average business owner and you can be sure that your books will always be up to date, regardless of how busy you get.
How much do you charge hourly?
$35 + Tax.
Wouldn't it be cheaper for me to get a part time junior bookkeeper for $200 a week?
You could get a part time junior bookkeeper in, however his limited knowledge would mean that you would have to spend much more time training him, plus you would have to pay him sick days, vacation pay, pension plan and insurance. They would also require a lot more supervision on a one-to-one basis and computer equipments and software. Because of our training and experience we can save you the time and effort involved in doing this. Ultimately for you, We can relate to yourself as a business owner to a business owner. You will not need to consider issues such as hiring, testing, training, controlling, supervising, paying vacation days, sick days or holidays pay and all the other nuances that come with junior employees.
